Apply a suitable non-ammonia glass cleaner to your cloth, never directly to the mirror.
Keep edges dry
Prevent liquid from pooling where the glass meets the frame.

Use a soft, dry cloth to remove dust from decorative details.
GLASS CLEANING
A clearer view, in three steps.
- Start with a clean, soft microfiber cloth to lift loose dust.
- Apply a small amount of suitable non-ammonia glass cleaner to the cloth. Wipe gently without flooding the surface.
- Buff with a dry area of the cloth and dry the glass edges promptly.
Avoid abrasive pads, blades and harsh chemical cleaners. Check the instructions supplied with your mirror before using a new cleaning product.
FRAME MAINTENANCE
Respect the finish.
- Decorative or gilded finishes: gently dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water, polish and chemical products.
- Metal frames: where the supplied care instructions permit it, use a barely damp cloth and dry immediately.
- Wood or carved details: use a dry, lint-free cloth and a light touch. Do not soak grooves or joints.
PLACEMENT & HANDLING
Protect the piece around the edges.
Keep the mirror away from standing water and persistent condensation. Wipe away accidental splashes promptly. Only use a mirror in a bathroom or damp area if the model is suitable for that environment.
When moving a large mirror, use two people and follow the supplied handling instructions. Avoid lifting by a decorative crown or resting the glass edge on a hard surface.

Can I spray glass cleaner onto the mirror?
Apply it to a microfiber cloth instead. Direct spraying can allow liquid to collect at the edges and reach the backing or frame.
How should I clean ornate details?
Gently remove dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid scrubbing, polishing compounds or damp cleaning unless the model’s instructions specifically permit it.
