Glass Cleaning

  • Cloth First: Spray non-ammonia cleaner onto a microfiber cloth—never directly onto the glass.

  • Wipe Edges: Avoid allowing liquid to pool along the frame border, which can damage the silver backing.

  • Gently Buff: Wipe in light circular motions to remove smudges without streak marks.

Frame Maintenance

  • Gilded & Carved Frames: Dust gently with a dry, soft cloth or feather duster. Do not use damp towels or chemicals.

  • Metal Frames: Wipe with a barely damp microfiber cloth and dry immediately.

  • Wood Frames: Use a dry lint-free cloth to clean carved details.

Moisture Protection

  • Bathroom Use: Ensure adequate room ventilation to prevent moisture buildup.
